If you want to learn how to use Continuous Improvement (CI) methods and tools to meet your unit's goals, we invite you to attend one or more of the three courses we offer.
Classroom Yellow Belt
This course will provide an interactive way to learn, and immediately apply, the basics of Continuous Improvement. (You may have heard your colleagues talk about this interactive event as "the Courier Simulation.") You will come away from this course thinking about how you can create more efficiency and effectiveness in your work environment using CI tools and methods.

- Duration: 1 day
- Prerequisite: none
To register for a session:
- Login to eNDeavor.
- In the top left corner of your screen, under the eNDeavor logo, locate the blue tool bar.
- Move your cursor over Learning, to open a drop-down menu.
- When the drop-down menu appears, click on Catalog.
- From the Categories list on the left ide of your screen, choose Continuous Improvement.
- You will see the Yellow Belt Training - Continuous Improvement course. Under the class description, click on Register.
- Each of the offering dates/times/locations will be listed. Please note that the latest date is listed first. Select the check box next to the date most convenient for your schedule.
- Click Register to complete the registration process. On the next screen you will receive a confirmation of your registration. You will also receive an automated email confirming your registration.
When you have completed this training...
Online Green Belt
This online course is broken into eight sessions that take about two to three hours each. After completing this course, you will have a strong foundation in CI. You will possess the tools and knowledge to be able to begin a standard CI project with guidance and support from the Office of Continuous Improvement.
- Offered to CI project leaders
- Duration: approximately 16 to 24 hours (does not need to be completed in one sitting)
- Prerequisites: CI project and signed Project Leader Agreement

When you have completed this training...
Classroom Green Belt
During this classroom course, you will have the opportunity to apply CI tools and methods to real processes occurring in your work environment. You will also learn techniques to identify, analyze, and influence stakeholders of your CI project. Participants will come to class with a scoped-out Continuous Improvement project (we will help you do this in advance), and will work on that project during training.
- Offered to CI project leaders
- Duration: 4 days - 1 day per week over 4 weeks (includes ½ day of Stakeholder Management training)
- Prerequisites: CI project and signed Project Leader Agreement, completed Online Green Belt training
